Song-Word Art House, in partnership with The Tragically Hip, proudly present an 18 piece collection of original artwork inspired by the iconic lyrics of the legendary Canadian band The Tragically Hip. The collection is a mixture of paintings, sculpture, and mixed media artworks created by internationally acclaimed artists from Canada, Europe, and the U.S. The exhibition features artworks that have an epic feel to them, not only because the inspiring lyrics are selected from songs that span The Hip’s 30+ year catalogue, but also because their rock-poetry is incorporated into the actual artworks, marrying the power of the word with the beauty of the image.

raising money for Charity

The Tragically Hip and Song-Word Art House will donate 25% of the revenue generated from the sale of the original artwork to support the Tsi Tyónnheht Onkwawén:na language and cultural centre located on a Mohawk reservation in Tyendinaga, Ontario.  Funds will be used to help build a school dedicated to teaching students their Indigenous language.
